Leadership Was Never Meant to Be Lived Alone.

My coaching is shaped by a combination of experiences that are uncommon having worked as an executive, pastor, professor, consultant, and organizational leader. I have worked in and held leadership roles inside corporations, churches, nonprofits, and higher education. These are organizations with very different missions but remarkably similar leadership and organizational challenges.

Those experiences are complemented by my professional coaching education and certifications. I am a certified coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF), a certified Wiley Everything DiSC® practitioner and certified in Daniel Goleman's Foundational and Relational Emotional Intelligence framework. I have my own Managing Life's Dimensions assessment. Teaching coaching ethics as an instructor for the Professional Christian Coaching Institute, I am committed to the integrity of this practice.

Throughout my career I have learned that the complex organizational issues involve people, culture, decision-making, communication, trust, organizational systems and the ability to align purpose with execution. It is not a simple and straightforward path. Leaders often find themselves in an ethical dilemma.

Those perspectives allow me to coach leaders beyond surface-level solutions. Together we examine not only what decisions need to be made, but how to think about them, why they matter, and who you are becoming in the process. My goal is to help you move confidently toward the future you want to create and to achieve your goals and objectives.

I believe meaningful transformation and wise decision-making begin with a greater awareness in an environment of trust and safety. People rarely change because someone gives them better advice. They change because they begin to see themselves, their leadership and their circumstances differently. Decision making is more effective. That is the work of coaching. Lasting change doesn't begin with another leadership technique or a better strategy. It begins by developing the person behind the position.

Who you are influences how you lead, how you build relationships, how you make decisions and how you shape the culture around you. Leadership is ultimately an expression of character, values, emotional maturity, wisdom and purpose.
