The Work Exchange
The Work Exchange is a FREE, six-session learning experience designed to help Christians replace common misconceptions about work with biblical truth. It is available in two formats: video-led or facilitator-led.
Through practical teaching, reflection, conversation, and insights from more than 60 voices across business, academia, and the church, participants explore how their everyday work can glorify God and serve others.
Sessions explore the blessing, purpose, power, joy, soul, and influence of work. The curriculum can be used in churches or workplaces and is available in both facilitator-led and video-driven formats.
The Work Exchange was developed and produced in partnership between the Talbot Center Faith, Work & Economics, Convene Corporation and the curriculum author, Jim Woodward, a Convene Chair.
God and Your Work
This six-lesson online course explores the biblical and theological foundations of work, vocation, and calling and what those ideas mean for the way we approach our everyday work.
Led by Dr. Scott Rae, Talbot School of Theology, with contributions from other scholars and marketplace voices, the course moves from theology to practical application, helping participants recognize that serving God is not limited to traditional ministry. Our professional and everyday work can also be an important expression of our calling and service to God.
Designed for individual, self-paced learning, the course includes video teaching, reflection, quizzes, and additional resources.
Small Group Curriculum: God and Your Work
This small-group version of God and Your Work helps churches, ministries, and groups explore together how work, vocation, calling, and faith intersect.
Through six lessons, participants examine why work matters to God, develop a biblical understanding of work and vocation, and consider how those truths shape the way they approach their own work and influence in the marketplace. The curriculum includes video teaching and a downloadable participant guide designed specifically for an in-person small-group experience.
